BethAnne (née Johnson) Elison was born and raised near the Amish country of north central Ohio. She has a younger brother Jax, who has been employed in the organic agricultural trade for ten years, and her late parents Blanche and William were both elementary school teachers.
She loves to travel, and her excursions to date include Belfast, Dublin, London, Istanbul, Toronto, Napa Valley, Hawaii, India, Mexico, and most of the Caribbean.
BethAnne has been married since 2002 to London native Gregory Elison, a high school science teacher. She and her husband have four dogs (Pumpkin, Sweet Pea, Patches, and Barley), and three cats (Nelson, Furbert, and Ziggy.) When she isn't writing, researching novels or reading, she and Greg enjoy kayaking in Ohio's lakes and rivers.
